Shopping by Neighborhood
Breadcrumb
Nashville’s shopping scene is as eclectic as the city’s distinctive neighborhoods. Are you searching for home decor or Hermès, vintage clothes or vinyl records, local boutiques or Louboutin? There are treasures to be discovered in every corner of Music City. The Shopping by Neighborhood guide highlights distinct options in a concentrated area to maximize time.
12South
The 12South neighborhood has all the shops you need to complete the perfect outfit. From Emerson Grace, which specializes in denim, to local accessory designers like Judith Bright, who has an awesome selection of handcrafted jewelry, you can even take a little bit of Nashville home with you when you shop at imogene + willie.
Charlotte Corridor
Nashville neighborhoods west of downtown make up the Charlotte Corridor and hold fantastic shops that benefit a great cause. Places like Thistle Farms employ and help women who have survived lives of prostitution, trafficking, addiction, and life on the streets. Then, there are places like L&L Marketplace, a one-stop destination for shopping, eating, and wellness.
Downtown
There's nothing like taking a walk and window shopping in Downtown Nashville. We have the Honky Tonks blasting tunes with many of the bands at the window, and there are shops in between offering you a peek at what is inside. The newest downtown shopping experience can be found at Fifth + Broadway, which is a contemporary residential and Class-A office tower with walkable shops and rooftop restaurants.
East Nashville
East Nashville is located across the Cumberland River from downtown Nashville. It is the stomping ground of Nashville's creative class, attracted to the area's culturally diverse and eclectic vibe filled with record stores like Grimey's Records, vintage shops, and unique boutiques.
GERMANTOWN
If you're in Germantown and want something extraordinary, look around the Nashville Farmers' Market for fresh produce. Or find some of the highest-quality leathers when you shop at Strings for Hope, a non-profit organization that uses broken musical strings to turn them into jewelry.
Green Hills
Green Hills offers some of Nashville’s best shopping, from boutiques to an upscale mall. Anchored by Dillard’s, Macy’s, and Nordstrom department stores, The Mall at Green Hills features stores such as Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton, Sephora, Burberry, Tory Burch, Apple, and many others.
Opryland & Music Valley
Opry Mills is Tennessee's largest outlet and value retail destination, with over 200 stores. In Opryland, you can grab a cool, unique item from Nashville at The Opry Shop. You can also walk around Music Valley Village to explore Nashville's unique shopping. While at it, explore the "Dukes of Hazzard" themed retail store and museum, Cooter's Place.
Sobro
Sitting in the heart of SoBro (South of Broadway), there are many places to grab something to take home. Find something to suit your shopping needs from a historic poster made by Hatch Show Print or a unique dress from Five & Tenn. Shop Nashville's history at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's Museum Store. Combine style, hospitality, and quality New Orleans-style grocery at the Southernaire Market.
The Gulch
The Gulch offers some great shopping. They even have a guitar vault for the musician in your family. If you are looking for a pair of boots, Nashville Boot Co. is a fine choice.
