In 2018, The Fairgrounds Nashville began an ambitious project to reinvigorate the historic property by creating new exposition facilities, multi-use public recreation areas, and related infrastructure. In April 2019, the first phase of Fair Park, 23.2-acres of green space and greenway, was completed.
