On March 6th, Dr. Carole Bucy will be joining us for two events discussing the impacts of Lafayette's visit to Nashville and Middle Tennessee. At noon, there will be a lunch and learn session. This session is free to attend with a suggested donation to Travellers Rest and you can bring your own lunch to enjoy while hearing from Dr. Bucy. In the evening, Dr. Bucy will once again be speaking on Lafayette, and at this session charcuterie and refreshments will be provided.

On April 10th, Delbert DeWitty will be joining us for two events discussing African and African American world history and its connections to Middle Tennessee. At noon, there will be a lunch and learn session. This session is free to attend with a suggested donation to Travellers Rest and you can bring your own lunch to enjoy while hearing from Mr. DeWitty. In the evening, he will once again be discussing local and regional connections to African and African American world history, and at this session charcuterie and refreshments will be provided.‍

On May 15th, Travellers Rest's own Collection/Site Manager, Abigail Coomes will be speak at two events about the legacy of the Travelers Rest Arabian Stud. At noon, there will be a lunch and learn session. This session is free to attend with a suggested donation to Travellers Rest and you can bring your own lunch to enjoy while hearing from Ms. Coomes. In the evening, she will once again be discussing the Arabian Horse connections to Travelelrs Rest and at this session charcuterie and refreshments will be provided.
