(August 26, 2024) – Ranger Station, the Nashville Fragrance House established in 2015 by Steve and Jordan Soderholm, today introduces ‘Bark Ranger’, a limited edition pet care collection developed in collaboration with Wags & Walks, a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and rehoming dogs in need. With guidance from Wags & Walks veterinary team, the collection includes a candle, shampoo and deodorizing spray and is designed to make pet care easy, luxurious and effective. It is available for purchase exclusively from the Ranger Station website and flagship store in Nashville beginning at 10 a.m. CT on August 26, 2024, National Dog Dog. A portion of net proceeds of Bark Ranger Candle sales will benefit Wags & Walks.
“We have seen firsthand how committed this team is to doing what is best for dogs, no matter the cost. So when they asked us to develop a pet care collection with them, we couldn't be more honored. We created this collection with both pets and their humans in mind,” says Jordan Soderholm, Ranger Station co-founder and chief growth officer.
“The really cool thing about the ‘Bark Ranger’ fragrance is that it focuses on what I call ‘antiquity fragrances.’ All of the main fragrance notes are things that have been used for centuries for their calming properties. The scent leads off with Mediterranean clary sage which has been used for smudging and cleansing air for centuries. Then Australian sandalwood. The wood of the sandalwood tree has been dried and burned as incense for hundreds of years because of its incredible fragrance,” says Steve Soderholm, Ranger Station co-founder and perfumer. Other fragrance notes include oakmoss and cedar atlas.
The collection* includes three products
- Bark Ranger Candle – $45 for 8 oz. premium soy wax blend candle. Hand-poured and packaged in Nashville with a 30+-hour burn time. As with all Ranger Station products, this candle is pet-safe and comes with a box of matches.
- Bark Ranger Shampoo – $39 for 16.9 oz. shampoo. Each bottle is hand-mixed to order using the highest-quality fragrance and essential oils for a soft and shiny coast. Formulation is gentle, paraben-free and sulfate-free.
- Bark Ranger Deodorizing Spray – $29 for 8.1 oz. spray. Used between baths, this spray neutralizes odors to help keep your dog fresh without the need for frequent washing. Hand-mixed to order using the highest quality fragrance and essential oils.
