Nashville’s Eastside Bowl is excited to announce a reimagining of its former Diner space as The ‘58, a new 225 capacity venue designed to fill a gap for rock clubs for East Nashville and beyond.
The new room earned its name from its color concept using the actual gold paint mixture of the 1958 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop, granted as a special purchase to Eastside Bowl by Gibson Guitars. The ’58 will be a high-demand addition to the already popular 600+ capacity main venue, and the Low Volume Lounge stage, which carries on the “neighborhood stage” legacy of The Family Wash.
Eastside Bowl is happy to announce veteran talent buyer, John Bruton, is joining the booking team after 2 years of retirement. Since November 2022, Santo Pullella has held the dual position of senior talent buyer and venue operations manager.
“Having two parts of the vertical venue model in this city for developing artists is something I’m excited for. We’re here to do our very best and evolve at the art of creating space for artists to express themselves and for fans to discover and share.” Talent Buyer and Venue Operations Manager Santo Pullella says. “Not long after I retired, I realized how much I missed working as a talent buyer. I feel Eastside Bowl and The 58 will be the perfect fit for me.” says Talent Buyer John Bruton.
While the former diner space no longer operates as a sit-down restaurant, the kitchen still serves its recently upgraded menu items to the Lounge, the bowling lanes, and the limited tables that remain in the back of The ‘58. Rounding out the current 16 lanes of bowling and multiple live music stages is the new billiards room where the arcade previously resided.
Eastside Bowl is building more momentum for itself in Nashville after a successful 2023 that brought high profile concerts, including Tyler Childers, Jason Isbell, Jenny Lewis, and The Dead South, along with the honor of being named one of “The World’s 13 Most Unique Bowling Alleys” by Architectural Digest.
