Nashville, TN, August 14 - On Friday, March 8, Adventure Science Center hosted the crew from Empowered Hosted by Meg Ryan to film a segment for the show about the work that the science center is doing to bring science literacy to a new generation. Empowered Hosted by Meg Ryan focuses on Educational Content to create new connections, innovations, and conversations that can ultimately transform lives.
The educational documentary segment will be distributed on August 26 to over 170+ participating Public Television stations, available through August 2025.
Additionally, a professional commercial featuring the center will air 50x regionally in Nashville, Knoxville, and Memphis between August 7 and August 31 on networks including CNN, CNN Headline News, MSNCB, CNBC, Fox News, Fox Business Network, TLC, Travel, and Discovery.
We worked with Empowered to tell Adventure Science Center’s impact story as it relates to informal learning, the importance of access to inspiration at a young age, and the science center’s overall mission and objectives as we work to make STEM accessible and engaging for all ages.
Among the special guests for the segment were Leah Melber, Ph.D. - President & CEO of Adventure Science Center, Dr. Adrienne Battle - Director of Metro Nashville Public Schools, and Pratishtha Singh - TWISTER Volunteer & Technologist.
