Swedish Pop Sensation Icona Pop Set to Headline the Seventh Annual OUTLOUD Music Festival in Downtown Nashville

Nashville’s largest pop festival will be held on Saturday, September 16.

(NASHVILLE, TENN) August 1, 2023 -- Now in its seventh year, the one-day, diverse music-centric festival in downtown Nashville, OUTLOUD Music Festival, is proud to announce swedish pop sensation Icona Pop as the headliner for 2023 joining The Aces, Brooke Eden, Thelma and the Sleaze, Marielle Kraft, ISMAY, The Kentucky Gentlemen and Daena on Saturday, September 16, 2023.

The duo of best friends Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt, Sweden's Icona Pop bring a carefree energy to dance music, including their 2012 smash single "I Love It" that was one of the year's biggest songs and loved by a global audience. Icona Pop remained in the charts with "Emergency," "Next Mistake” and a string of singles with dance music luminaries ranging from Ultra Naté with "You're Free" to Galantis with "I Want You".

Icona Pop is set to release its new album Club Romantech on September 1 just a few weeks before this festival. The first single off the new album “Where Do We Go From Here” is a catchy dose of Europop as the pair sing in unison over dizzying beats according to Rolling Stone.

The festival will also feature drag performances by Venus Ann Serena, Britney Banks, Justine Van De Blair, Delta Granta plus more to be announced.

Tickets start at just $59.00 and include music on two stages plus DJs, drag performances, silent disco, food trucks, craft beer and cocktails, local vendors and activities starting with the kickoff of the festival at 4 pm through the end of the festival at 11 pm.
