Movies in the Park, Presented by Amazon, Returns for its 29th Season
The summer tradition continues with four nights of free family fun.
Nashville, Tenn. - Get ready for a summer full of family and pet friendly entertainment as Movies in the Park, presented by Amazon, kicks off its 29th annual outdoor movie series at Elmington Park. This free-to-attend event has become a beloved tradition in Nashville, offering an unforgettable experience for all ages, complete with captivating films, delicious food and exciting activities.
In partnership with the Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation, the Nashville Film Festival and 96.3 Jack FM, Movies in the Park will take place on Thursday, June 1, 8, 15 and 22. The festivities will begin nightly at 5pm with attendees indulging in mouthwatering treats from a variety of local food vendors, participating in games and entering for their chance to win prizes from sponsors. The anticipation will build as the sun sets and the featured film begins!
The 2023 lineup is packed with cinematic gems that are fun for all ages. On June 1, get ready for some mischievous fun with Minions: The Rise of Gru. On June 8, experience the timeless comedy, Mean Girls. Prepare for high-flying action on June 15 with Top Gun: Maverick and on June 22, embark on an intergalactic adventure with Lightyear. To ensure inclusivity for all audiences, all films will be shown in open caption, allowing everyone to enjoy the magic of the big screen.

In addition to the thrilling films, attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in a wide array of delectable culinary options. Food vendors include Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, Daddy's Dogs, HauteWheels Rolling Sandwich Co, New Berlin Eats, Retro Sno, Riptide Acai, Franklin's Fruit Tea, The Mac Shack, No Fuss Taco, Little Cancun on the Go, Mag Mile Pizza, Music City Fish & Chicken, Chivanada, Pop's Krazy Kettle Korn and Baby Cakes Bakery.
Elmington Park is located at 3531 West End Ave. Parking is available at West End Middle School, Blakemore United Methodist Church and West End Church of Christ. Additional street parking is available, but please be mindful of residents. Pets are welcome but must be on a leash at all times.
