by Adventure Science Center

Nashville, TN - Adventure Science Center is partnering with a number of local organizations and artists to bring the next installment in their 21+ event series, Way Late Play Date, to life. The science center staff has heard adults say for years that they'd love to attend camp one more time, and Friday, June 9 is that chance! Camp Way Late will dive into the nostalgia of summer days gone by with a packed schedule of unique activities.

Throughout the evening, Third Coast Comedy Club will perform 15 minute "camp counselor skits" that are absolutely hilarious and primed for crowd participation. Attendees will also enjoy stargazing in the Sudekum Planetarium followed by collaboration with Nashville born-and-based artist MORGXN for camp theme songwriting sessions, put their endurance to the test in Zombie Survival Preparedness Training with REI, and hear scary stories read by Nashville Public Library. Access to all of these activities is included in the cost of the event ticket and will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Bars with cocktails and mocktails will be provided by East Nashville mainstay Rosemary & Beauty Queen and The Grilled Cheeserie & Daddy's Dogs will provide food options (additional purchase required for food & drink).
