About This Spot
Our goal is to establish an unfettered access to service by collecting food and feeding those in need, lowering food insecurity, creating a community of collaboration and bringing awareness to food waste. Every year tons of viable catered, often gourmet, food is thrown into the trash. Since conception, CKO has rescued over 70,000 pounds of viable food and then distributed them to a wide range of public services including substance abuse, elementary school children, The Nashville Rescue Mission, including the new Women's Rescue Mission as of 2024, as well as displaced foster children to name a few. The mission is to feed the least, the last, and the lost in Nashville and Middle Tennessee and give to the hundreds of thousands of men, women, and children that are going hungry daily, showing and sharing God's love.
