Scout’s Barbershop to Open Gallatin, TN Location on Saturday, March 1

Under the leadership of co-founder Brooke Allison, Scout’s Barbershop — a locally owned Nashville staple known for offering quality haircuts in a relaxed and welcoming environment at affordable prices — will open its ninth location in Gallatin, Tennessee, on Saturday, March 1, 2025. This grand opening marks the first of three new locations planned for 2025, with shops set to open in Wedgewood-Houston and Cool Springs later this year.

Founded in 2013 with a focus on quality, hospitality, and convenience, Scout’s operates as a walk-in, neighborhood barbershop offering exceptional service in a relaxed setting. This expansion reflects Scout’s commitment to community-centered growth, strengthening local connections while supporting both its team members and also the neighborhoods it serves.

Scout’s Gallatin is celebrating its grand opening with a special pre-opening event for the local community on Friday, February 28, from 5 to 8 p.m.—follow along on Instagram for all the details. The team will also offer half-price haircuts on Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2, and guests that visit the new location through Sunday, March 9 will be entered to win free cuts for a year along with gift cards from neighboring businesses.

The Design

The eight-chair shop evokes a sense of outdoor, summer camp, and wilderness nostalgia, featuring statement decor such as canoes suspended from the ceiling, maps, and taxidermy mounted on the walls and throughout the space. Playful yet true to the Scout’s signature old-school aesthetic, this location offers an elevated take on classic design. The color scheme blends yellows — featuring a yellow tile wall and yellow vanity lights — along with deep greens and dusty blues, offering a fresh interpretation of Scout’s timeless design.

At Scout’s Barbershop, guests enjoy a personalized grooming experience using premium products from top brands like Kevin Murphy, Verb, and Scout’s own exclusive beard care line — all available for purchase as well. Scout’s remains devoted to providing memorable barbershop experiences that make every client feel at home from the moment they walk in the door (when patrons are greeted by friendly receptionists and offered a complimentary local craft beer from New Heights Brewing Company or a refreshing sparkling water) through services with talented stylists, friendly conversations with staff and fellow clients, and a comfortable atmosphere throughout their visit.
