Jelly Roll's Goodnight Nashville Says Hello To Broadway

While doors opened mid- January, a grand opening celebration will occur on Thursday, February 20.

Nashville's very own award-winning icon Jelly Roll makes his mark on Broadway with the highly anticipated opening of his new venue, Goodnight Nashville. While doors opened mid- January, a grand opening celebration will occur on Thursday, February 20. The new four-story venue promises an unforgettable experience for both locals and visitors alike. Created in partnership with Arizona-based Evening Entertainment Group (EEG), Goodnight Nashville stands out as Broadway’s first celebrity-backed concept from a Music City native.

BURGERS, SPIRITS & TATTOOS

Situated between 2nd and 3rd Ave S in the former home to Trail West Boot Store, Broadway's newest addition offers a full dining experience, tattoo parlor pop-up and lively nightlife inspired by Jelly Roll’s raw, authentic spirit. The first floor exudes a vibrant atmosphere, featuring a full bar, diverse menu, and live music—all under the glow of a massive skull chandelier, drum-head lights, and a “Save Me/I’m Fine” art installation. With a variety of seating options, including tables and bar stools, guests can enjoy drinks and meals while enjoying live bands performing from an elevated stage. Above, a wrap-around mezzanine offers a birds-eye view of the venue, complete with a dedicated space for flash-style tattoos which will open in conjunction with the grand opening on February 20.

The second floor pays tribute to Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie Xo of the popular Dumb Blonde podcast, with a larger-than life likeness of her above the bar. Bunnie’s immerses guests in an inviting, sultry world, featuring a stage for live DJs and plush booths perfect for nightlife and VIP table reservations. The third floor offers a more intimate, elevated experience with Buddy’s, a cocktail lounge named in honor of Jelly Roll’s late father. This upscale, speakeasy-style venue serves craft cocktails and a limited, thoughtfully curated food menu in a cozy setting. Reserved mainly for private events and for Jelly Roll’s personal use. Buddy’s will occasionally open its doors to the public for a more exclusive night out. Finally, the top floor is an indoor-outdoor rooftop, offering sweeping views, comfortable booths, space for a DJ, bar fare, and another signature rotating skull chandelier.

ENJOY ALL NIGHT

Goodnight Nashville’s opening menu offers an elevated take on American gastropub cuisine, curated by Executive Chef Patrick Murphy. From shareable starters, and gourmet burgers to pizzas, salads, and sandwiches, there is something for everyone. On the opening menu, standout shareables include the Family Recipe Meatballs with marinara, basil ricotta, arugula, lemon ($14) and “Wild One” Wings, with the choice of Nashville, Memphis BBQ, Buffalo Caramel, Albama White BBQ, or Broadway Dust Rubbed sauces ($16). The entrée portion of the menu features everything from a Nashville Mac N’ Cheese with fried Nashville hot chicken, beer cheese sauce, cavatappi pasta, and herbed bread crumbs ($21) to a more classic double wagyu smash patty cheeseburger dubbed the “Losers Burger” ($18). And of course, no menu is complete without desserts like Dad’s Key Lime Pie with vanilla whip and graham cracker crust ($12) and the Old-Fashioned Jelly Roll with lemon sponge cake, strawberry jelly, mascarpone whip, and toasted almonds ($14). In addition to bites, Goodnight Nashville has an extensive bar menu and will offer everything from specialty cocktails to beer, wine, seltzers, and non-alcoholic options.

“As we set out to create EEG’s first venue in Nashville, we knew there was no better person to partner with than a true hometown hero like Jelly Roll,” says Les Corieri, co-owner of Evening Entertainment Group. “Goodnight Nashville is more than just a place to grab a drink—it’s an experience where music, culture, and hospitality meet. Nashville has always been a vibrant city of energy and creativity, and we’re excited to be part of that spirit, bringing something new to the scene.”

Goodnight Nashville will be open seven days a week with hours varying by floor, ensuring there’s always a place to eat, drink and enjoy the city’s best nightlife. Learn more at goodnightnashville.com and follow along on Instagram @goodnightnash.

ABOUT JELLY ROLL:

Award-winning, GRAMMY® nominated Nashville native singer/songwriter Jelly Roll (Jason DeFord) bowed at #1 on the Billboard 200 All Genre Chart for the first time with his acclaimed 2024 album, Beautifully Broken—which also earned the highest critical praise of his career so far from Rolling Stone, Billboard, Associated Press, NPR, and more. The release concluded his most successful year yet and followed his sold out Beautifully Broken Tour in arenas nationwide.

Just a year earlier, Jelly debuted Top 3 on the Billboard 200 All Genre Chart and #2 on the Top Country Album charts with his debut Country Album, Whitsitt Chapel (released June 2nd, 2023) - earning the biggest Country debut album in Billboard Consumption Chart history. Following his sweep at the 2023 CMT Music Awards where he earned three awards to become the most awarded artist of the night, the Billboard Country Power List Cover star and “country’s ‘most authentic’ new artist” (The New Yorker) received Billboard’s 2023 Breakthrough Award and the People’s Choice Award for Male Country Artist of the Year. Nominated for Best New Artist and Best Duo/Group Performance for “Save Me (with Lainey Wilson)” at the 2024 GRAMMY Awards, “I Am Not Okay” nominated for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance at the 2025 GRAMMY Awards, along with eight genre-spanning nominations at the 2024 iHeartRadio Awards and a win for Best New Country and Pop artist wins, Jelly is one of three artists alongside Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs to have scored three Country Airplay #1s in 2023 and the first to do it with his first three singles. He has earned five consecutive #1s to date at Country radio and is “one of Nashville’s fastest rising stars” (The New York Times). A 4X winner at the 2023 People’s Choice Country Awards and the most nominated male at the 2023 CMA Awards, with five total nominations capturing his first CMA Award for New Artist of the Year, Jelly continues to break boundaries. His #1 hit single “Save Me” — a confessional, vulnerable expression of self-doubt— set the stage for his new season of life and took him to new heights including a Platinum certification from the RIAA on the heels of his 28-week reign at No. 1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart. Most recently, “Save Me” earned Jelly his first ACM win for Music Event of the year, released his new album Beautifully Broken on October 11 and launched his Beautifully Broken Tour on August 27th following his seven consecutive #1 singles: “I Am Not Okay,” “Chevrolet” - Dustin Lynch feat. Jelly Roll, “Halfway To Hell,” “Save Me,” “Need A Favor,” “Son of A Sinner” & “Dead Man Walking.”

Not just an artist but a humanitarian, Jelly continues to resonate with fans on a global scale while racking up numerous milestones - from playing his sold-out hometown show for 18,000 fans at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena to donating a recording studio at the juvenile detention center he served in as a teen, to the release of his record-breaking documentary by ABC News, “Save Me” - the most watched music documentary on the platform - to his visits with rehab centers and those incarcerated across the US. Featured by Nightline, GMA, GMA3, The New York Times, LA Times, The Tennessean, Billboard, Variety, American Songwriter, CMT and more, his self-built, unconventional industry rise and unique fan connection has garnered praise from numerous outlets, with Variety noting, “for everyone who’s facing the same struggles, Jelly Roll is their Springsteen,” and American Songwriter echoing, “with a string of accolades and an extremely dedicated following, Jelly Roll has emerged as a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.”
