Nashville’s 615 Indie Live Announces First Round of Artists

Local Lineup Celebrates Nashville’s Vibrant, Diverse Music Scene.

NASHVILLE615 Indie Live announced its initial round of artists today, shining a spotlight on the depth and diversity of Nashville’s vibrant local music community. The new music event on February 1, 2025, celebrates two essential elements of Nashville’s music scene and culture: independent venues and local artists.

The initial announcement showcases an eclectic mix of genres ranging from soul to jazz, Americana to R&B, and hip hop to country. Highlights include renowned instrumental innovators The Wooten Brothers, soulful powerhouse Alanna Royale, 615 indie rock royalty The Pink Spiders and rising hip-hop collective Six One Tribe.

“Without independent venues, I wouldn’t have the opportunities I’ve had to connect with fans and grow as an artist,” Royale said. “These spaces are vital not only for artists like me but for the entire Nashville music community—they’re the musical home and soul of Music City.”

Fourteen independent venues and more than 40 local artists and bands will be featured during 615 Indie Live, which is produced by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp in partnership with Music Venue Alliance Nashville. Event passes are discounted to $15, including all taxes and fees. These passes grant entry to all participating venues. The event will run from noon to 2 a.m. on February 1, allowing attendees to enjoy multiple shows at various locations throughout the course of the day and night.

“Nashville is home to an incredibly diverse pool of artists that spans genres, bringing together unique sounds that make our city unlike any other,” said Deana Ivey, President and CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. “We are proud to create an opportunity where so much talent can shine in a single, unforgettable day, and we hope visitors and locals alike get to experience the very best of Nashville’s independent music scene.”

Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit MVAN, including the organization’s Emergency Relief Fund, which helps the city’s independent venues keep their doors open during times of financial crisis. Tickets are available for purchase. T-shirts featuring all 14 venues are available for purchase from Project 615.

“This event truly showcases every corner of Nashville’s music scene,” said Chris Cobb, President of the Music Venue Alliance Nashville. “From rising indie acts to world-renowned musicians, participating venues collaborated to program an incredible range of local talent that reflects our city’s diversity and depth. And stay tuned - there are some big names still to come in our next announcement that fans won’t want to miss.”
