Holiday Spirit Shines in Nashville Superspeedway's "Pack the Pace Car" Toy Drive Contest

Nashville Superspeedway announced today that Green Hill High School has won the second annual “Pack the Pace Car” toy drive competition.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Nashville Superspeedway announced today that Green Hill High School has won the second annual “Pack the Pace Car” toy drive competition, successfully defending its title from 2023. The school’s remarkable effort contributed more than half of the 1,000-plus toys collected during this year’s drive, which benefits the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital Jingle Toy Drive and families affected by Hurricane Helene.

The competition, which expanded this year to schools throughout Middle Tennessee, challenged participants to fill Nashville Superspeedway’s Ford Mustang Mach 1 pace car with toys for community children.

“Green Hill High School’s dedication to this cause for the second straight year demonstrates the incredible impact young people can have on their community,” said Matt Greci, Nashville Superspeedway’s general manager. “The overwhelming response from all participants has far exceeded our expectations and will bring joy to countless children this holiday season.”

As the winning school, Green Hill High School has earned a prize package including NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Rackley Roofing 200 race tickets for all students and staff members for the May 30, 2025, event.

“Green Hill High School is proud to partner with Nashville Superspeedway for ‘Pack the Pace Car.’ We are grateful for being able to contribute to our community in such a meaningful way, and to bring an added level of joy during the holiday season,” said Kevin Dawson, Green Hill High School principal.

The toy collection, which took place throughout December, required multiple vehicles to transport all donations.

Those interested in supporting the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital this holiday season can still contribute by visiting JingleToyDrive.org.
