NASHVILLE, TN – (August 21, 2024) – Centennial Park Conservancy announced today that the beloved annual Kidsville Family Festival will return to Centennial Park on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The free festival will feature a fun-filled day of activities for the whole family, in addition to local vendors and food trucks, mascots, live music, dance and theater performances, and more.
“The Kidsville Family Festival has become a favorite annual tradition in the park,” said Justin Branam, Centennial Park Conservancy’s Vice President of Programming. “It’s the perfect way for families to enjoy a beautiful fall day outdoors, and we’re thrilled to offer a free event full of fun surprises and exciting activities for children of all ages.”
Highlights of the festival include:
- Musical performances, storytelling, and a meet-and-greet with princesses and superheroes from the Dreams Do Come True Princess Parties
- Stuff your own custom teddy bear with Teddy Bear Mobile – the first 100 bears are free!
- Free face painting powered by ICE! Gaylord Opryland
- Storytime and reading with Ardnek 3D, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Fairytales Bookstore, and Reading With Netta
- Nashville Public Library Puppet Truck performances of Ali Baba
- Dance performances and demonstrations from Construct Breakdance, DancEast Collective Youth (DCY), Madison Step Team, Metro Dance, and Nashville Ballet
- Family-friendly yoga class with Small World Yoga
- The Dancing People Nashville Dance Party with Music City Soul
- Meet-and-greets with: Tempo the Coyote from Nashville SC; Socket, Nashville’s Sustainability Outlet; Trashsquatch with Nobody Trashes TN
- Craft projects compliments of several festival partners, including Creativity Kits from Turnip Green Creative Reuse and "Design Your Own Instrument" activity with the Country Music Hall of Fame
- Bach To Rock instrument petting zoo
- Partner booths with engaging activities from local organizations, including Vanderbilt SENSE Lab, Nashville Peace & Justice Center, The Family Center, Borneo Orangutan Survival USA, Metro Parks Nature Centers, Choose How You Move, Nashville Department of Transportation, the Nashville Symphony, and Save The Children.
- Shopping from local vendors and artisans including Just Us print studio, Plushed By Amy, and AngelPuff Fairy Hair
In addition to family-friendly activities offered all day long, the Kidsville Family Festival will feature a variety of food vendors and local food trucks, including Bondi Bowls, Paninis & More, Chivanada, Hoss’ Loaded Burgers, Retro Sno, The Snowy Churro, The Rollin Thai, Tasty J’s & Sweet Tea, and Koko’s Ice Cream.
The Kidsville Family Festival will take place at the Musicians Corner Amphitheater, located in Centennial Park on the corner of West End Avenue and 27th Avenue North.

ABOUT KIDSVILLE
Kidsville is a program of Centennial Park Conservancy. It began in 2010 as “Kids Corner,” an area for children to create and play during our Musicians Corner events in Centennial Park. Since that time, Kidsville has become a standalone program of Centennial Park Conservancy, presenting more than 100 free education activities annually in Centennial Park and at outreach locations across Nashville.
