“When was the last time you've been to a family reunion, meets block party, meets outdoor mall? Our family-friendly atmosphere gives people the chance to network, eat, dance, and shop their values.” - Carlos Partee, Co-Founder of the Nashville Black Market.
The Nashville Black Market, an organization dedicated to creating a space for Black owned businesses in this city to translate their products and services to the masses. Nashville is currently home to 53,000 businesses and expanding at a rapid pace and too often Black entrepreneurs don’t have equitable opportunities at a stake in the city’s expansion. In 2022, our mission is to create more opportunities for black businesses and entrepreneurs in the community. The goal is to create our own tangible marketplace where culture and commerce connect providing them with services and opportunities for Black-owned businesses to elevate their businesses. The Nashville Black Market has expanded from its first installment in 2018 attracting more than thousands of attendees and still growing.
