Nashville, Tenn. – October 13, 2022 – Contemporary arts center OZ Arts Nashville today announced the return of Fable Cry’s Festival of Ghouls, a ghostly cabaret party, on Saturday, October 29, 2022, in OZ Arts’ expansive creative warehouse. Audiences are invited to relive favorite childhood nightmares at this immersive Halloween party and over-the-top cabaret from Nashville’s masters of the macabre alongside a host of special guest performers who make this spooky evening one not to be missed.
Conjuring tales that gave goosebumps and creatures that made many afraid of the dark, local theatrical noir rock band Fable Cry will enlist the help of talented artists from the worlds of burlesque, cabaret, puppetry and circus to celebrate the eeriest day of the year.
Attendees are encouraged to transform into their favorite monster or come donned in dramatic sleepover fashions for this immersive Halloween party. Alongside a headlining set from the unmissable Fable Cry, audiences will have the opportunity to hear music from retro country goth-rock band The Bad Signs and American post-rock trio You Bred Raptors?. Leading the impressive list of guest performers are sultry performers from Back to Black Burlesque, aerial artists from Nashville’s own Suspended Gravity Circus, burlesque artists Risky Sour and Sophie du Mal and drag vixen Raven Von Roe. Turn off the lights and embrace the night with this wickedly nostalgic lineup.
“The spooky season would not be complete without the twists and turns of Fable Cry’s annual Festival of Ghouls from Nashville's masters of the macabre,” said Mark Murphy, OZ Arts Executive and Artistic Director. “Along with their unique theatrical rock tunes, we’re delighted that OZ audiences can engage with the spellbinding talents of these guest performers and wildly talented musicians.”
Tickets for Fable Cry’s Festival of Ghouls are $20 and are on sale now at the following link. This event is suitable for mature audiences due to macabre content. Costumes are encouraged, and the evening will include prizes for some of the audience favorites.
