NASHVILLE, TN (June 8, 2022) – Diskin Cider (Nashville’s first craft cidery) is set to re-release ‘Daydream’ – its prickly pear rosé Summer Seasonal Cider – this upcoming Saturday, June 11th. Originally released during Pride Month in 2018 as part of its ‘Rosé All Summer’ series, Diskin Cider has annually brought back Daydream in celebration of Pride month and as a symbol of Diskin Cider’s commitment to kindness, diversity, and inclusivity. This year’s re-release marks the fourth year Daydream will be available for purchase online, as well as available in liquor stores, restaurants, and bars across Tennessee. In keeping with past efforts, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Nashville LGBT Chamber to help support its mission to advocate, educate, and connect.
Diskin Cider will be celebrating the release of Daydream at its tasting room on Saturday, June 11th with events planned for the entirety of the weekend. Saturday morning kicks off with Pīlīer Collective total body workout from 10 to 11 am, after which LGBTQ+ owned vendor pop-ups from Full Circle Canine, Sheta Sweets, Nashville Repertory Theatre, as well as ProudlyMarket, and others will be present from noon on.
In tandem with Nashville Soccer Club’s Pride Night, Diskin Cider will be hosting a Pride Pregame Party from 4 pm to 7 pm, including offering a one-way shuttle service to GEODIS Park with the purchase of any cider. The Daydream release night continues with a performance by musical artist Daena Rogers from 7:30 pm to 9 pm. Sunday will conclude the release weekend with YogaSix Pride Yoga from 11 am to 12 pm and Diskin Dog Meetup from 4 pm to 6 pm, which will feature King Of Pops vending pup cups.
Daydream will be available for purchase online and in the tasting room on June 11 as 4-packs of 16oz cans, cases of cans, as well as ⅙ barrel kegs, and ½ barrel kegs. Daydream will be available in retail venues and through their distributor Best Brands beginning June 17.
Diskin Cider is proud to be Nashville’s first and only craft cidery bringing true local craft cider to Tennessee and the South. Diskin Cider breaks the mold of overly sweet cider with the natural flavor of fresh-pressed juice and without any artificial flavorings. Diskin Cider’s tasting room is located in the booming Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood and is currently open to the public Thursday through Sunday for dine-in, as well as curbside pickup every day of the week.
