(Nashville, TN – June 11, 2020) – Nicky’s Coal Fired, a signature Italian eatery in the heart of The Nations, is re-opening June 14th as a fast-casual concept. The restaurant has shifted its traditional tableside dining for guests to feel safer and more comfortable. Upon entering, guests will order at the host stand and will be given a number to place on their table; a server brings out all food and beverage items. The menu remains the same including a variety of antipasti, house-made pasta, coal-fired pizzas, wine, beer, and specialty cocktails.
A plexiglass barrier has been installed around the host stand to provide a measure of safety for guests and staff members. Additional precautions include tables spaced six feet, team members, and guests required to wear facial coverings, and the restaurant is stocked to provide disposable masks for guests at a sanitation station located at the entrance of the restaurant. Nicky's Coal Fired will be open daily from 3 pm until 8:30 pm and will be closed on Tuesday.
In addition to its new fast-casual service, Nicky’s Coal Fired recently launched a weekend bagel shop inside the restaurant on Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 am until 2:00 pm. At the host stand, guests can order from a variety of coal-fired bagels made by Rob Kane, former owner of Bare Naked Bagel Shop, along with Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s.
Nicky’s Coal Fired will continue to provide curbside to-go and delivery options that can be placed on their website.
