NASHVILLE - In support of their ongoing commitment to providing a safe place for entertainment, City Winery has announced a dramatic expansion of their outdoor footprint in the form of a unique new addition to downtown Nashville’s cultural scene: the Music City Wine Garden.
Beginning Saturday, August 29, guests will be able to enjoy City Winery’s signature globally-inspired food and locally-produced wine seven nights a week in a stylish and comfortable outdoor atmosphere, under an open-air tent that protects from sun and rain while allowing guests to enjoy cool summer breezes. This 8,000 sq. foot outdoor space will also feature live music several nights a week, with a lineup that includes talented musicians like Keb' Mo', Lucinda Williams, Anderson East, and Rayland Baxter.
“First and foremost - Music City Wine Garden is all about the safety of our guests and our employees. We want to provide a space for the Nashville community to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air with their friends and a glass of locally-made wine. Guests will be able to relax and enjoy world-class wine, delicious food, and musical performances in a safe, seated outdoor environment, thanks to our enhanced safety measures, table spacing, and face mask requirements.” said Michael Dorf, Founder and CEO of City Winery.
This new tented space also significantly increases City Winery Nashville’s outdoor private event hosting capabilities. With best-in-class live music production, delectable culinary creations, an award-winning wine program, and stunning views of Tennessee blue skies, Music City Wine Garden offers everything that event planners need to safely make a wedding, rehearsal dinner, corporate event, or elopement ceremony an unforgettable experience.
Music City Wine Garden will open at 4pm Wednesday through Sunday, serving a full dinner menu until 10pm (8pm on Sunday). Brunch will be offered from 10:30am - 3pm on Saturday and Sunday. Dinner menu highlights include City Winery favorites Shrimp & Grits and Mushroom & Goat Cheese Risotto Balls, while the brunch menu features a new "Bottomless Brunch" option, where guests can enjoy two hours of unlimited mimosas, bloody marys or rosé for just $25 with the purchase of an entrée. The Wine Garden will also offer an extensive beverage menu that includes new large-format cocktails like a refreshing “Whiskey Mint Smash.” The socially-distanced, stylish dining areas feature tables spaced six feet apart, as well as VIP lounges and classic winery-inspired decor with vineyard ivy and authentic oak wine barrels.
Opening night of Music City Wine Garden will feature socially-distanced live music with charismatic guitarist & singer-songwriter Keb’ Mo’. As a four-time Grammy Award-winning musician, he's earned a reputation for his ability to draw upon his bottomless roots-music expertise to make deeply expressive, highly personal music. Keb’ Mo’ will take over the Music City Wine Garden stage for two shows per night on Saturday 8/29/20 and Sunday 8/30/20. Shows are selling out quickly. For more information, click here.
Music City Wine Garden’s outdoor shows will continue to provide City Winery’s effective safety protocols. Fans attending City Winery’s recent shows have appreciated the updated safety measures:
