NASHVILLE, Tenn. – January 7, 2020Moxy Hotels, Marriott International’s experiential hotel brand, today announces it has opened Moxy Nashville Vanderbilt at Hillsboro Village, the first hotel in the historic neighborhood of Hillsboro Village, operated by Summit Management Corporation and owned by one of its partnerships. Conceptualized for both the young and the young at heart, the 130-bedroom Moxy Nashville Vanderbilt is a fun, playful, and stylish hotel designed to give guests everything they want and nothing they don’t.

Conveniently located at 1911 Belcourt Ave in the heart of Hillsboro Village, and just a few blocks from Vanderbilt University, Belmont University and Music Row, Moxy Nashville Vanderbilt captures the vibe of the village and invites travelers to connect with the local community. The walkable neighborhood is already home to several locally owned Nashville businesses which the hotel is a strong supporter of, including restaurants, shops and the Belcourt Theatre. In particular, Moxy Nashville Vanderbilt guests will be able to book a package that includes tickets to a show at Belcourt.

The Living Room also features plenty of power and USB outlets, and furiously fast and free Wi-Fi for ultimate connectivity. A high-energy yet cozy space for gatherings, special events or cocktails, the Living Room plays host to eclectic upbeat music that sets just the right mood. Moxy’s 24/7 B&F self-service concept gives guests access to what they want, whenever they want with options including fresh juice, coffee, flatbreads, and salads.

The hotel’s cozy and clever bedrooms feature 55″ Netflix-enabled LCD flat-screen televisions, high quality sound systems, free Wi-Fi, comfortable high-thread count bedding and a bedtime stories button from the telephone to help guests doze off in style. The design is functional, flexible and uncluttered, featuring custom furniture that is dual purpose and foldaway, so guests can personalize and change their space as they wish.

The hotel’s open lobby layout features a contemporary vibe for guests of all ages, offering engaging games and activities, including a pool table, shuffleboard, dart board, life-size Jenga & Connect Four, card games, plus planned local activations and programming throughout the week. Programming at Moxy Nashville Vanderbilt is open to the public and will include goat yoga, paint and sip classes, puppies and Pilates in partnership with the Nashville Humane Association, themed trivia on Monday nights, and more. Guests can stay active in the bright, open fitness center overlooking the lobby, plug in their device or instrument to entertain friends in the lobby’s Listening Room, or mingle at the lively bar while sipping on a craft cocktail or local brew. Designed by Manuel Zeitlin Architects and Bounds and Gillespie Architects, the six-story building features 130 Moxy hotel rooms, 47 residences separate from the hotel (The 1901 on Belcourt), a 200-car garage, and ground floor retail space.
