L.A. Jackson, the Gulch’s go-to rooftop for top tier drinks and delectable fare with a view, is toasting to brunch season with the launch of a new brunch menu available Saturday and Sunday from 11AM – 3PM. Crafted by Executive Chef Nathan Duensing, the menu features decadent toast selections, seasonal sides and rotating pastries by Executive Pastry Chef Kate Sigel.
Starting Saturday, March 7, 2020, diners can head to the popular rooftop to enjoy new offerings like the Avocado Toast with street corn, cotija cheese, crema fresca; Prosciutto and Camembert Toast with honey dijonnaise, arugula, soft boiled egg; French Toast with berries, whipped cream, cheese, mint; Cashew Butter Toast with banana, hot honey, chocolate pop rocks, granola; Gravlox Toast with cured salmon, cucumber, cream cheese, caper, dill; and a Buttermilk Biscuit with chicken sausage, molasses red-eye gravy. Sides include potato au gratin with gruyere, parmesan, and thyme; bacon; chicken sausage; and a selection of fruit.
Brunch isn’t complete without boozy offerings and Lead Bartender Sally Gatza is slinging an array of inventive seasonal cocktails including the Shortstack – bourbon, blackberry, PX sherry, lemon, pineapple, blackstrap, maple, and lemon poppyseed pancakes; Yum Yum Drink – gin, Sloe gin, blood orange, campari, ginger, lemon, egg white, and dash of cream; The Milkman – choice of vodka, rum or Irish whiskey, choice of almond, oat or whole milk, Licor 43, banana, and cold brew. A trio of bloodies will also be available, like the Mary with vodka, celery and bacon; Maria with tequila and pepper; and Caesar with gin, dill, and oyster.
