NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 10, 2020) — A. Marshall Hospitality’s downtown Nashville concept Deacon’s New South will host an exclusive bourbon tasting event with Angel’s Envy on Wednesday, September 23 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Guests will enjoy three courses of artfully composed canapés prepared by Deacon’s Executive Chef Chris Calder and sample three unique Angel's Envy cocktail pairings.
The bourbon tradition relies on white oak trees to build the barrels essential for aging America's native spirit. In order to secure the future of bourbon, Angel’s Envy’s Toast the Trees initiative began with the goal of planting the forests of tomorrow and encouraging sustainability for future generations' enjoyment.
For each cocktail photo posted and tagged with #ToastTheTrees, Angel’s Envy will plant one tree. Attendees of the Deacon’s event are encouraged to participate and support the campaign’s goal of planting 40,000 trees by the end of the year.
Tickets are $60 per person and are available to purchase through Eventbrite. Guests are encouraged to make reservations if they intend to stay for dinner following the tasting. Available seating will be physically spaced out to allow for social distancing.
Deacon’s is a proud Tennessee Pledge partner and is committed to providing a quality dining experience while prioritizing the health and safety of all guests and employees. Current hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m. Curbside pickup orders can be placed by calling 615-994-1994, and reservations can be booked by phone or through OpenTable.
