NASHVILLE, Tennessee – TransPerfect has reached an agreement with Music City Bowl Inc. to become the title sponsor of the annual bowl game that will feature teams from the Southeastern Conference and the Big Ten starting in 2020.
The multiyear agreement was announced on Wednesday at Nissan Stadium, the site of Nashville’s holiday tradition.
The Bowl’s new logo, which will be implemented beginning in 2020, was also unveiled Wednesday.

Next year’s Bowl game will be the first of a six-year exclusive partnership with the SEC and Big Ten.
The team selections for the SEC will remain in a pool format with five other Bowls sharing a selection following the College Football Playoffs, New Year’s Six Bowls and the Citrus Bowl selections. The Bowl’s new Big Ten partnership will provide a Big Ten team each of the next six years in Nashville. Following the College Football Playoff and New Year’s Six selections, the Music City Bowl will have the third selection from the Big Ten, behind the Citrus Bowl and Outback Bowl, in 2020, 2022, and 2024 and sharing the third and fourth selections with the Las Vegas Bowl in 2021, 2023 and 2025.
Established in 1998, the Music City Bowl has transformed the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day into one of the city’s busiest times of the year for tourism and has become Nashville’s holiday tradition. Since its inception, the Bowl has produced nearly $335 million in direct economic impact to Nashville.
The Bowl game and the events that surround it have provided a direct impact on the Nashville economy, national image and community pride while showcasing the city as a premier sports destination for audiences throughout the country. Nashville was recently named the “Best Sports City” by the Sports Business Journal.
