Nashville, Tenn. (Oct. 22, 2019) – To show their appreciation for all those who have served our country, TC Restaurant Group and Florida Georgia Line invite U.S. Veterans to an exclusive appreciation event in partnership with The Independence Fund. On Monday, November 11, all active and former military and their families are welcome to visit FGL House for an afternoon of complimentary food, beverages, and live entertainment. Veterans Appreciation Day will take place from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on FGL House’s rooftop, located at 120 3rd Avenue S, Nashville, TN 37201.
TC Restaurant Group, the operator of multiple venues on Lower Broadway, will donate a “comfort food” buffet consisting of mac n’ cheese and barbecue pulled pork. They will also provide guests over the age of 21 a complimentary beverage ticket. All guests will have access to live entertainment from 6 – 8 p.m. and exclusive use of the FGL House rooftop.
“We are so grateful to every active and former member of our nation’s military service,” said Katie Goyette, VP of Sales and Marketing for TC Restaurant Group. “The least we can do is provide them with a fun, free afternoon out on the town. We cannot wait to welcome local Veterans into our restaurant to say ‘thank you’ the best way we can—with delicious food and drinks!”
The Independence Fund, a non-profit organization devoted to empowering our nation’s catastrophically ill, injured and wounded Veterans, will partner with TC Restaurant Group to host the event. A representative of the organization will be on-site to interact with guests and spread the word about their mission to improve the lives of Veterans and their families.
“We are so excited to partner with TC Restaurant Group for this fun-filled event,” said Sam Johnson, Chief Programs Officer for The Independence Fund. “We have had great experiences partnering and touring with FGL in the past, so we can’t wait to spread the word about our organization’s mission in Nashville.”
Upon arrival, Veterans will need to show proof of service to verify their status and enjoy entry to the celebration.
