NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 1, 2019) - - Saltine, a Southern-influenced restaurant from 4Top Hospitality located on West End in Nashville’s popular midtown neighborhood, launches a new happy hour and seasonal menu today. Saltine will coincidingly begin Saturday brunch in addition to its popular Sunday brunch services this weekend from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
New menu highlights include a Maine lobster roll, yellowfin tuna mini tacos, Gifford’s thick cut bacon, old bay nachos and charred barbeque octopus. New additions to the “From the Land” menu section include Springer Mountain Farms fried chicken, pesto capellini and seared duck breasts. Add-ons to the “From the Sea” section of the menu include the furikake crusted yellowfin yuna and a revamped Nashville hot oyster platter. Guests will also find new desserts including the blonde brown butter cake, banana bread pudding and the German triple chocolate cake.
Happy hour is offered Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Drink specials include $5 house wines, old-fashioneds, oyster shooters, "fromosas," pisco sours and a daily punch in addition to $2 domestic beers. Featured small bites include $5 hushpuppies, oysters & eggs, shishito peppers, Gifford’s thick-cut bacon and Hatch chile cheese dip, as well as $1.50 Gulf oysters.
Saltine’s Gulf and James River oysters are always offered on the menu in addition to a rotating selection of oysters coming from Canada, Cape Cod, Maine, Rhode Island and more. Saltine’s vast selection of seafood is delivered fresh daily from local purveyors.
