Turnip Green Creative Reuse (TGCR) presents What Goes Around… the 5th annual group exhibition of the Nashville Collage Collective (NCC). What Goes Around... features 2D and 3D works by 30+ mixed media artists, and celebrates an incredible array of repurposed materials, some of which were found on the shelves and bins of the TGCR shop! What Goes Around... will be on view from June 1 – July 28, 2019. A public opening reception is scheduled for Saturday, June 1 with a second reception on July 6 from 6:00pm–9:00pm during the Wedgewood-Houston Art Crawl at TGCR’s Green Gallery at 407 Houston Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
The Nashville Collage Collective is a unique forum where local artists can share materials and ideas while they support each other in the exploration of collage techniques, collaboration and exhibition of work. Members have gathered regularly for the past eight years to visit and work side by side at free-form workshops, which have taken place at venues such as Turnip Green Creative Reuse, Zeitgeist Gallery, local coffee shops, and the artists’ studios. Every year they come together to exhibit their work in an exciting group show.
