NASHVILLE, TN (May 6, 2019) - Preparations are already underway for Diskin Cider’s one year birthday blowout. Nashville’s first and only craft cidery will host the celebration at their tasting room located in the booming Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 12 PM - 11 PM. The family friendly, all-ages event is free and open to the public; special VIP packages are also available to guests interested in upgrading their experience. The festivities are expected to grow in numbers from the Grand Opening, which hosted approximately 4,000 guests throughout the course of the day in 2018.
The One Year Birthday celebration will host live music from talented local Nashville artists headlined by the dynamic alternative rock band Colony House and featuring Sweet Fever, Sam Johnston and Kirsten Arian. Lightning 100 will conduct a live broadcast from the site. BATL Nashville will host an axe throwing pop-up station alongside a thrilling carnival swing ride as part of the unique event activations that Diskin Cider has come to be known for.
Delicious food truck options from Funk Seoul Brother, Dough Box, Mrs. Grissoms and Smoke Et Al will be available all day. Gourmet vendors King of Pops, Bang Candy Company, Golden Roots and Bongo Java will serve up tasty treats including creative one-of-a-kind collaborations incorporating Diskin Cider product. The VIP tent will feature local favorite Pennington Distilling Company’s sleek trailer where guests can sample a variety of spirits and delectable summer cider cocktails.
Diskin Cider is proud to bring true local craft cider to Tennessee and the South. Bridging the gap between wine and beer, Diskin Cider’s bold, flavorful, small-batch ciders break the mold of overly sweet cider with the natural flavor of fresh-pressed apples.
