Holiday LIGHTS at Cheekwood is set to open November 23, with tickets on sale October 1. Featuring a one-mile-long path of lights, the carefully planned course offers holiday experiences designed to appeal to all ages. Now in its fifth year, the popular wintertime program attracted more than 60,000 visitors in 2018.
New This Year
New this year, Cheekwood will introduce Pinnacles of Light, an outdoor display showcasing 17 custom-made LED trees with programmed lights. The estate and garden will also roll out a new poinsettia wall, antique train display and pet portraits with Santa.
Live Reindeer, S'mores, & more
Guests can expect to see returning favorites like live reindeer, s’mores stations, seasonal cocktails and nightly performances from holiday carolers. Families can meet Santa every evening in December leading up to Christmas, as well as on Saturday mornings. Additionally, guests can sign up for various activities including gingerbread classes, ornament painting, and greenery workshops.
Cheekwood’s Café 29 will offer nightly dinner service from 5-10pm, and food trucks will be onsite during peak nights.
