Christie Cookie will celebrate two national food holidays by offering free sweet treats to locals at the Christie Cookie shop in 12 South, located at 2606 12th Ave South.
Friday, August 2 is National Ice Cream Sandwich Day, and Christie Cookie has partnered with local brand Hattie Jane’s Creamery to create limited-edition ice cream sandwiches. On Friday, the first 50 guests to visit the Christie Cookie shop in 12 South, between 12-2 p.m., will receive a free ice cream sandwich. The varieties include white chocolate macadamia Christie Cookies with lemon tart Hattie Jane’s ice cream and rocky road Christie Cookies with minty chip Hattie Jane’s ice cream. Any remaining ice cream sandwiches will be available for $5 each while supplies last.
The free fun continues on National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, when the 12 South shop offers free chocolate chip cookies on Sunday, August 4 during regular business hours, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Each guest will receive a freshly baked signature chocolate chip Christie Cookie; one per customer, no purchase necessary, and while supplies last.
As the creator of the of infamous DoubleTree Cookie, Christie Cookie also shares the news that on August 4, DoubleTree by Hilton will hand out its famous, warm chocolate chip cookie to anyone who visits its more than 565 hotels around the world in celebration of National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day.
