Meet Charles The seeds of my passion for Mountain Valley Farm were planted in my childhood, right in my own backyard. Nature captivated me from a young age, and some of my fondest memories revolve around watching flowers bloom and vegetable seeds sprout. As I transitioned into adulthood, prioritizing personal health and wellness became increasingly important. ​ My journey led me to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. Later, I embarked on a transformative path, earning my Masters of Science in Nutrition for Wellness from the esteemed Bastyr University in San Diego, CA. It was during my final year at Bastyr that everything I cherished—nature, farming, people, community, and nutrition—converged to shape the vision of a farm and nutrition education center. I am currently working towards my doctorate in clinical nutrition from University of western States. Love and community became the heart and soul of this endeavor.
