Nashville, Tenn. – September 7, 2023 – Artville, Nashville’s new three-day visual art festival, today announces the local art galleries participating at the event from September 29 through October 1. Previously announced, Artville has attracted a range of local and national artists including Derrick Adams, Charles DuVernay, Rachel Hayes, Vadis Turner, and Herb Williams to name a few. In addition to 20 public art installations and murals as well as many local galleries exhibiting throughout the Wedgewood Houston and Chestnut Hill neighborhoods. The Community Art Show features works from 100+ local artists and eight local contemporary galleries that will be showcasing works at The Nashville Warehouse Co. for the weekend.
To kick off the festival, an Art Show Preview Party will take place on Thursday, September 28. From 6pm to 9pm, ticket holders will get a first look at the Community Art Show featuring over 100 local artists and curated works from Nashville galleries including Artbeat, Elephant Gallery, The Forge, LeQuire Gallery, Nashville Artist Collective, Red Arrow Gallery, Tinney Contemporary, and Zeiher Smith. All works will be for sale, and tickets to the event also include drinks, food, music and more. Tickets to the Art Show Preview Party can be purchased here for $50.

Already calling Wedgewood Houston and Chestnut Hill home, local well known galleries will all be open during festival hours showcasing contemporary artist exhibits and special weekend arts programming including 185 Alley Gallery, cëcret by cë Gallery, COOP Gallery, David Lusk Gallery, Julia Martin, Nashville Poetry Library, Open Gallery, The Packing Plant, Prisma Signa Gallery, Risology Club, Rock Wall Gallery, Soho House, and Zeitgeist. Following Thursday’s kick-off preview event, Artville will host a variety of events throughout the weekend during public hours including the Community Art Show and Artist Talks at the Nashville Warehouse Co., 20 public art murals and experiences, a re-imagined American Artisan Festival @ Artville featuring 80 high-quality artists, kids art activities, food, beer and wine as well as live music at The Outfield.
