New York Times Best-Selling Author, Podcaster, Annie F. Downs is Chasing The Fun at Target and Walmart This Week and Asks Fans to Join

Beginning August 15 Downs will launch an interactive 100-day Chase The Fun group with readers.

NASHVILLE, TN.... August 8, 2022 - New York Times best-selling author and podcaster Annie F. Downs released Chase The Fun: 100 Days to Discover Fun Right Where You Are last week, and now she's announcing even more ways to engage with her readers and put chasing fun into action. After "fun coaching" fans on her podcast, this week she is inviting them to help her chase the fun at her local Target and Walmart stores, and join her for an interactive 100-day Chase The Fun group next week.

While five lucky fans that preordered the book won the opportunity to interview during her That Sounds Fun podcast and receive some fun coaching in return, now, "feeling like an amateur at shopping," Downs is challenging her podcast listeners to tag her with their shopping inspirations in pictures of their copy of Chase the Fun and the cute stuff they're buying from Walmart and Target along with the book. She will be shopping and posting from a local Walmart and Target throughout the week.

Beginning Monday, August 15, Annie and 1200+ readers will go through the Chase the Fun book together. Downs will post the first few days on her social media with some reflections, and will email the group every 10 days with encouragement to keep at it. She will lead the celebration on Tuesday, November 22 when they all reach Day 100 together. To join group, go to https://app.e2ma.net/app2/audience/signup/1968708/1400192/

Over the past two and a half years Downs has helped readers understand fun matters (That Sounds Fun), helped children and parents see that fun is everywhere, (What Sounds Fun to You?), and now she invites everyone to experience 100 delightful days of discovering fun right where they are. With her insightful writing and provocative questions, she helps readers identify what they find fun and then go after it like it matters, because it does.
